Robby Hecht and Caroline Spence

Robby Hecht and Caroline Spence

I'm really excited to present a special Saturday night show at the Sevareid House featuring two of the best songwriters of their generation. ROBBY HECHT and CAROLINE SPENCE met while performing at the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival in 2013. Since then, these two friends have gotten into the habit of taking time off from their solo projects to write and sing together in their hometown of Nashville and on tour across the country. After their two duet singles, "Two People and Parallel Lines were streamed nearly 8 million times on Spotify, Robby and Caroline figured they were doing something right and decided to write and record a full album. This new album, Two People, is named in honor of the first song they released

together, but the title really speaks more to the heart of the collection itself. All of the songs on Two People are about the endlessly beautiful and difficult task of joining your life with anothers. In the case of Spence and Hecht, the results are elegant harmonies and effortlessly human songs that cut right to the point. Both artists have won several prestigious songwriting awards between them including the Kerrville Folk festival (both winners!) and have presented their music separately on some of this country's most storied stages. We're thrilled to host them together as they tour behind their beautiful, new duo album.

This concert is a private event. It is for friends and friends of friends. We sell tickets in advance to reserve seating as it is limited — we usually sell out. All of the proceeds from the sales of the reserved seating go directly to the artist. Please reserve your seat WELL IN ADVANCE. House concerts are a wonderful grassroots phenomenon! World-class musicians and developing local talent alike perform in the intimacy of private homes and similar nontraditional spaces!
